Who wants to go to school today?!Today was the first day of school. The kids were very excited to go see their teachers and meet their new friends. Kate got to school and was very shy and actually didn't want me to leave. I was very surprised. When I came to pick her up though, she was having a great time and said she loved her new class. She thought it was very fun that there is another Kate in her class. Brower didn't want to leave Kate's class. It took me a while just to get him out of her class and to his class. As soon as we got out into the hall, he bolted to the "rainbow class". He couldn't wait to get in the door. The teachers asked us to wait in the hall with our kids and they would take the kids in one at a time to try to keep them from getting too upset-that was not a problem for Brower. He was knocking on the door to try to get in! Mrs. Leonard came out to get the next child and he ran right in! He had so much fun. I think they are both going to love school this year. Of course, we continued our tradition of cookies on the first day of school which they loved!
